F.L.Y. YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

Faithfully Leading Young Adults To Discipleship

Mission Statement: Our mission is to encourage NBCC young adults (ages 19-29) to live a victorious life in Christ; providing a positive example for this generation. To support the vision of NBCC by providing a bridge to see this age group discipled and plugged into the greater NBCC community.

Scripture: Psalm 102:12 But You, O LORD, abide forever, And Your name to all generations.

Goal: The goal of FLY is to support the vision of the church by providing a bridge to see young adults at NBCC and in the community become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and plugged into the our local church. We first do this by providing an atmosphere for young adults to feel welcomed, express their needs and relate to others in their own age group. We then work with our church leaders to meet their spiritual and social needs through outreach, discipleship and creative programming. In so doing, this age group will draw closer to Christ and become productive members of His body.

Ministry Criteria/Requirements Leadership Team: NBCC has a high standard of excellence pertaining to leadership team members. Accordingly, leadership team members are expected to:

Be a member of NBCC between the ages of 19-29

Attend Sunday Service and Bible Study consistently

Committed Tither

Attend/participate in church sponsored events (revivals, fasts and special services)

Lead by example

Spiritual Gift includes:

Administration

Leadership

Evangelism

Gifts of Service

Exhortation

Mercy

Hospitality
