STEP 1: Pray! This is the first and most important step in preparing your heart to respond to God's call to action. For those in our church family who have wanted to be a part of the "Harvest Commitment Campaign", pray about giving a consistent and regular amount. Every Fourth Sunday is Harvest Commitment Sunday! Ask God what He would have you give to help others find the peace and promise you have found in Christ. Listen to what He says.

STEP 2: Prepare to Sacrifice! God does not expect equal giving, but He does expect equal sacrifice. Remember, these are gifts above and beyond your regular giving. Think in terms of what you can give up in order to reach our community for Christ.

STEP 3: Expect a Miracle! We serve an awesome God…so trust that He will provide what He impresses you to give, even if it's greater than the resources you can readily identify or expect. Leave room for faith in your commitment.

Four Ways to Give

1. Give a Cash Gift. Ask God for creative ways to increase your gift. You might consider cash from savings, tax refunds, garage sales, or an extra part-time job. Also, consider reducing expenses or deferring a major purchase as a sacrifice to God. Involve your whole family in giving a specific amount.

2. Make a 36-Month Giving Commitment. The Bible teaches that spiritual maturity includes developing the habit of regular giving. Giving the first portion of our income shows that God really has first place in our lives. Also, you can give far more than you thought possible when it's spread out over time. See the "My Potential Giving" chart to the right.

3. Give Stocks, Securities, or Other Assets. If you would like to give a planned gift, please contact Pastor Michael Henderson, Sr. at the church office.
