Mission Statement: The music ministry exists to invoke the glory of God through song. When God's glory is revealed, the atmosphere is made ripe for preaching, teaching, salvation, healing and many other miracles! To assist us in fulfilling our purpose, we refer to the Word of God.
Keys to Effective Music Ministry: In II Chronicles 5, we are given the keys to effective ministry
Conscretation: Verse 11 - "All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions."
God required, and is holding us accountable for living a life that is acceptable to Him (Romans 12:1). We must strive to live holy and our songs must mirror that lifestyle. We must continually seek the Lord, both individually and collectively.
Praise: Verse 13 - "They lifted their voice in praise to the Lord and sang..."
When holy people come together in unity, praise is the result. Praise is attractive to God (Psalm 33:1). In fact, God has promised that He will inhabit the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Praise invokes the presence of God and paves the way to the intimacy of worship.
